Diora posted a photo of herself on the set of an upcoming project in New York City earlier today on her Twitter page.

“http://twitpic.com/zuxct – Day 1 my first ever NY set. Feeling very Carrie Bradshaw. Minus the great outfits.”

She later tweeted that the project she’s working on is NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

“For those who give a damn (5 or so) I’m working on Law & Order: SVU. The greatest show in America…so I hear. I aints gots no tv.”

On the new CBS comedy Accidentally on Purpose, the character of Davis (Nicolas Wright) has not exactly been much of a ladies’ man – though that doesn’t stop him from attempting to hit on the female characters on the show, to no avail.

However, on this Monday’s new episode, “The Love Guru”, Davis’ luck takes a dramatic turn, when he meets the very sexy Andrea, played by guest star Diora Baird (Wedding Crashers, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning).

During a recent visit to the set of Accidentally on Purpose, Baird explained her character, Andrea, to me thusly: “She likes to have sex… a lot. And for some reason, she’s really attracted to Davis. It doesn’t make any sense, because she’s really out of his league, but all she wants to do is use him as her sex object.”
