Twitter is fast becoming the best source for the latest movie news. Diora Baird used her Twitter feed to announce her audition for Kenneth Branagh’s Thor:

Had an audition for the movie Thor today. Character description was “pretty, but sturdy with muscle”. Damn type casting.

When asked by Chud what role she was auditioning for, Baird said she was sworn to secrecy:

I cant say. I’ll go to jail. For real. Had to sign my soul away.

A good guess would be that Baird is up for the role of Asgardian sorceress The Enchantress, considering that Natalie Portman will play Thor’s love interest, though it’s possible Baird is auditioning for Sif, another love interest of Thor’s.
