I have updated the gallery with screencaps from the 30 Days of Night: Dark Days and Night of the Demons trailers. Check out the new, kick ass Night of the Demons trailer at Bloody Disgusting. A few words from Diora regarding the trailer:
Due to some of your comments, let me make this clear. In the trailer for, well, lets just call it ‘Film by idiot f*ck heads’……
…I am NOT naked. That is NOT me. Nor do I get naked in the movie. What you see is just a prosthetic piece. In the movie, that is obvious.
And there you have it!
Speaking of the movie, Night of the Demons New York premiere screening will take place Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:30pm @ Cinema Village, New York.
While at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, we had a chance to sit down with the folks behind 30 Days of Night: Dark Days – producer J.R. Young, director Ben Katai, and stars Rhys Coiro, Kiele Sanchez, and Diora Baird – and by doing so, we dug up some interesting things about the sequel for you to sink your teeth into. Dig it!
Co-written by Ketai and Steve Niles, Dark Days stars Kiele (A Perfect Getaway) Sanchez (who takes over the role of ‘Stella’ from actress Melissa George from the original 30 Days of Night), Mia (De Palma’s The Black Dahlia) Kirshner, Rhys (Entourage) Coiro, Diora (Night of the Demons) Baird, Harold (Lost) Perrineau, Troy (A Marine Story) Ruptash, and Monique (Cabin in the Woods) Ganderton.
If you weren’t already stoked for Adam Gierasch’s Night of the Demons remake, we’re pretty damn confident you will be after seeing these new slices of demonic mayhem!
Cinematographer Yaron Levy just updated his official site with a horror reel that shows off tons of footage from the forthcoming remake. You can dig on it below.
Night of the Demons stars Diora Baird, Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther, Jonathan Beach, Michael Copon, Tiffany Shepis, and Edward Furlong. Look for it in theatres on September 23rd.
Synopsis:
Angela Feld is throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans, where dark events transpired almost a century ago. But when the packed party gets busted by the police, Angela and her friends Maddie, Lily, Suzanne, Colin, Dex, and Jason are the only ones left behind. Soon Colin and Angela make a grisly discovery in the basement, and inexplicable events start to take place. With the mansion gates mysteriously locked, the seven find themselves trapped for the night … and soon they’re fighting ancient demons for their very souls.
It appears we missed this segment of Tea Party Macabre when it was posted last month. Sorry about that.
Is the success of ‘Twilight’ good or bad for horror? Can the series be a “gateway drug” to get younger audiences interested in scarier fare? With Riki Lindhome, Jen Yamato, Diora Baird, Heather Wixson and Denise Gossett.
Thanks to Diora for the below link of her upcoming SVU episode, which will be airing this Wednesday night. Looks to be pretty intense and I can’t wait to see it. We’ll have screencaps up as soon as we can after the episode airs.
